Innovative Signage
Industrial Designer
BRIEF:
As a designer at Innovative Signage, I have been involved in hundreds of signage projects from design concepts, custom made art installations, code signage, tenant guidelines, and complete wayfinding systems. Below are a few highlights. My primary role has been creating shop and production drawings for clients and both in-house and outsourced fabrication. All of these projects involved working closely with clients, fabricators, installers, estimators, engineers, and account managers to create successful projects, from concept to delivery.
Role:
Team Management, Design, Technical Drawing, 3D modelling.

Southpointe 25th Anniversary Timeline
Process
Southpoint Academy celebrated its 25 year anniversary in 2025 and asked Innovative to design and produce a timeline for the school. The design team initially met with the client, visited the site, brainstormed concepts together, and proposed three layouts. I then worked with the client to revise their chosen concept and created technical designs for production.
Inspiration
I looked towards signage, exhibition design, graphics design, and architecture for inspiration. I was inspired by playful rounded forms, lines that draw the eye, and layering. I mocked up quick concepts in illustrator and adapted to Southpoint Academy’s design guidelines, colours, and type requirement.
GCT Vanterm
GCT (Global Container Terminals) Vanterm is one of the largest shipping terminals in Canada. They wanted to refresh their terminal for their 50th anniversary open house in 2025. This project included exterior illuminated signage, wayfinding, pylons, interpretive signs, and large scale vinyl, making it quite varied and interesting to work on.
